Because we have multiple spaces, we have a lot of flexibility in accommodating your guests! Our 40X40 Grove Patio can accommodate a ceremony setup of up to approximately 180 chairs. Our sit-down reception capacity (to be fully inside the climate controlled venue) is approximately 100. (Use of rectangular or high top tables could expand this number some) The French doors can be open to allow guests to flow in and out and you are welcome to add additional tables and chairs on either patio. To have a larger reception space with less weather concerns, you could add a tent to either one or both of the patios to more than double the space. If you want to book an event (much) larger than 100 guests, feel free to reach out and we can discuss options!

Alcohol is strictly BYO at Genesis Grove. No alcohol is allowed to be sold on the property but you can provide alcohol for your guests. If you are distributing hard liquor we do ask that you provide a bartender or have an Ohio Alcohol Certified Server on-site.

Yes, we are happy to accommodate outside vendors! We want your day to be the way YOU want it! We do not upcharge if you bring your own vendors, nor do we charge extra fees. We do, however, ask you to purchase an insurance policy that will cover you, us and your vendors. (Typical cost approximately $200)

Yes we do require insurance. Our insurance requirement details are available upon request if you want to shop around, however, we recommend a company called Special Insurance who has set up a package specifically for our venue. We DO have a payment plan! We require a minimum of 25% to book your wedding but after that we can work out a payment plan to fit your budget! (no interest charges!) We do have to charge sales and lodging taxes on the portion of the rental that reflects use of the on-site lodging, and a 3% fee will be added if you pay by credit card.

Your booking includes so much! Tables, chairs, sound system, big screen TV, use of all outdoor spaces, pipe and drape system, outdoor games, use of prep kitchen, rolling cooler, drink tank and more!

Though our primary business model is weddings, we do sometimes book parties on open dates such as weekdays, Sundays, off season or within 30 days of event. Our typical charges are $100 per hour with a four hour minimum. Feel free to reach out regarding availability.
